Ma Arcangelo Corelli olasz, barokk zeneszerzőről írok pár sort.

Corelli az olasz barokk kiemelkedő alakja, munkássága középpontjában a hegedű állt, de benne tisztelhetjük a concerto grosso műfajának megteremtőjét is. Zeneszerői munkássága mellett a XVII. századi Itália elsőszámú hegedűse.

A mai zenemű a La Folia, ami az opus 5 hegedűszonáta sorozat utolsó darabja. A folia régi 3/4 portugál tánc, ostinatobasszustémára épített variációsorozat, rokonműfaj a chaconne-nal és a passacaglia-val.

A mű előadói Henryk Szeryng világhírű lengyel hegedűművész és Huguette Dreyfus francia csembalóművésznő.

Today, I write some lines about Arcangelo Corelli Italian, Baroque composer.

Corelli was a prominent figure of the Italian Baroque era, he composed his pieces the most frequently for violin, and he created the genre concerto grosso. Besides his composer work, he was the best violinist in Italy in the XVII. century.

The piece of the day is La Folia, which is the last piece in the opus 5 series of sonatas for violin. The folia is an ancient Portuguese dance whit 3/4 time signature, it is a series of variation whit an ostinato theme in the bass, it is a related genre with chaconne and passacaglia.

The performers of the piece are Henryk Szeryng Polish violinist and Huguette Dreyfus French harpsichord player.

Ez a koncertetüd igen nagy népszerűségnek örved a trombitások körében, elsősorban darabban használt duplanyelv technika viszonylagosan nehezebb interpretációja miatt.

Petrovics Emil a XX. század kiemelkedő magyar komponistája, rengeteg műfajban alkotott és számtalan elismerő díjat kapott.

Ő volt az első magyar musical színház egyik alapítója, pályája során egyetemi tanárként dolgozott a Színház- és Filmművészeti és a Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészti Főiskolán. 1986-1990 között a Magyar Állami Opera igazgatója, 2003-2005 között az intézmény főzeneigazgatója.

Emil Petrovics was the most noticeable, Hungarian composer of the XX. century. He worked many genres and received many awards.

He was one of the founder of the first musical theatre in Hungary, during his career, he worked in the University of Theatre and Film Arts and the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music as a professor. He was the director of the Hungarian State Opera between 1986-1990, and he worked on the opera as principal musical director between 2003-2005.

Gershwinnel kapcsolatban írt, hogy jazz hangzást használt a komolyzenében. Ugyanakkor az is igaz, hogy bár a jazz teljes mértékben szórakoztató műfajnak indult, de már az elején is megjelentek a magasművészetre jellemző művészi megmozdulások, és a jazz fejlődése során egyre magasabb művészi szintre emelkedett. Amerikában is a jazzmuzsikusok törtkedtek a műfaj minél magasabb művészi szintre emelésére (bár ott a jazz még mindig szórakoztató és tánczeneként van jelen), Európába már koncerttermi műfajként jelent meg.

Tehát úgy gondolom, habár blogom alapvetően komolyzenével foglalkozik, mégis, helyet kaphatnak a blogban a magas szinvonalú könnyűzenei alkotások is. Ha nem másként, mint ritkábban hallható érdekességként.

A mai mű Bacsó Kristóf Lunar Dance című kompozíciója, előadója a Modern Art Orchestra, Magyarország legjobb big bandje, emelett a zenekar rendszeresen játszik kortárs zeneszerzők műveiből is.
