Giuseppe Tartini olasz, barokk zeneszerző volt, emelett hegedűművész és kiváló zenetanár, de zeneelmélettel is foglakozott. Ő fedzete fel a kombinációs hangokat, amit az utókor Tartini-féle kombinációs hangoknak is nevez. A kombinációs hangok két olyan hang együtthangzásából erednek, amely esetén a kombinációs hang frekvenciája a két megszólaló hang frekvenciájának összege vagy különbsége.

Viski János XX. századi magyar zeneszerzőt viszonylag kevesen ismerik. Aki rézfúvós tanulmányokat folytatott a az ismerheti A bunda című művét, amit a zenetanárok előszeretettel adatnak elő kezdő rézfúvósokkal, de zenei munkássága ennél sokkal szélesebb. Több versenyművet és szimfónikus zenekari művet írt.

A mai napon az Enigma című szimfónikus költeményét osztom meg.
