Jelen sorozatunk harmadik darabja C-dúrban íródott. A már rengetegszer említett ötödik tétel ebben a műben a bourée.
A mai bejegyzésben bemutatott tétel pedig courante (olaszul corrente-nek is hívják). Ez a tétel is tánctétel, ahogy az a barokk szvitekre jellemző. És jellemzően az allemande tétel után következik, ahogy jelen esetben is. Bár a courante francia eredetű tánc, a műfaj fejletsége csúcsát Itáliában érte el. Az autentikus francia courante 3/2-es vagy 6/4-es ütemmutatókkal íródott, de az olasz correntében nem ritka a 3/4-es és 3/8-os ütemmutató sem.
